In four of 193 countries abortion is forbidden and can't be done in any case, In 119 countries from 193 abortions are allowed only if the pregnancy threatens the life and the health of the mother. Only in 41 countries from 193 the abortion is allowed on the requirement of the mother.
In such countries as Austria, Russia, Sweden, China, the USA, Canada abortions may be done without any limits. But abortion is forbidden on requirement of the woman and on social reasons in such countries as Germany, Spain, Switzerland, etc. In Ireland and Malta abortions are fully forbidden.
98% of countries of the world allow doing abortion if pregnancy threatens mother's life. And in 62% of countries give the legal status to abortions if they are done to keep the physical health of the mother and 50% - to save psychological health of the mother.
